VAL (Voice Architecture Lab) is an international architectural design consulting firm with offices in California, Shanghai, Taipei, and Singapore. The firm’s partners are architects registered in the US/ China with rich international vision and experience. VAL is a studio committed to creating architecture in unique and diverse contexts, and dedicated to contributing to the built environment by providing a multidisciplinary professional voice, as well as knowledge, to clients, environments and users.
The goal of VAL is to find the voice of the context, then make it heard and recognized. With diverse experience and an open mind, a spirit of understanding others through communication and research, strong technical and design capabilities to bring projects to fruition, we are ready to take on all types of projects and serve our clients as they look for personalized solutions and are interested in bringing about change to the urban, natural, and human environment.
Our recent projects include a series of urban redevelopments in a high density area including R&D labs and production facilities, corporate headquarters, offices, residences, mixed-use, super high-rise towers, hotels, tourist centers and building adptive reuse. Our goal is to promote environmental improvement, encourage and discover good elements, and reconnect a broken context.
