Progressive architecture is preceded by progressive practice!
We believe that architecture adopts the aesthetic of the dominant political and economic structures it finds itself within, and in response to this we have created a platform, uxo architects, for labor to create responsible, beautiful, expressive, and collaborative design. Space is designed through labor — drawing, crafting, and modeling — and the democratic process in our practice means that worker-owners are involved in the full architectural process from design to management so everyone, clients included, is able to contribute to all phases of architecture.
