Team HC is a Hong Kong-based architecture and interior design studio renowned for creating bespoke environments with timeless elegance and thoughtful craftsmanship. Founded in 1998 by architect Clarence Chiang Jr. and interior designer Hannah Lee, the studio blends artistry, heritage, and innovation to reflect each client’s individuality.
The studio began organically when Clarence renovated a friend’s apartment as a side project. That experience sparked a deeper creative drive, and soon Clarence and Hannah found themselves yearning for more expressive work than their day jobs allowed. What started as a favor quickly evolved into a full-fledged design practice—driven by a shared passion for meaningful, personalized spaces.
Team HC’s approach is rooted in two core beliefs: the transformative power of “sense of well-being” in design, and the elegance of “less is more.” Every project is crafted to evoke balance, harmony, and emotional resonance—where clarity of form, natural materials, and intentional simplicity come together to elevate daily living.
Among Team HC’s early milestones were the rejuvenation of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, where uncovering its historical fabric helped guide future preservation, and the launch of the first single-brand Franck Muller watch boutique in Asia Pacific, a retail concept that redefined luxury branding in the region.
Their work has garnered international recognition, including the Wave of the Future Award from Hospitality Design magazine and inclusion in the prestigious AD100 China, which celebrates the most influential design talents in the region.
Today, Team HC delivers refined design solutions from residential sanctuaries to cultural landmarks. The studio is deeply committed to sustainability, design integrity, and nurturing long-term relationships with clients who value authenticity, creativity, and quiet sophistication.
