Taranta Creations is award winning, dynamic practice specialized in architecture, interior, art and urbanism. . The office design approach can best be described as cutting edge avant-garde with a high concern for technical details. For every project the team succeeds to combine creativity with a deep knowledge of construction. Therefore strong ideas can be translated to reality. The internationally oriented team is lead by Enrico Taranta. Before opening his own office, he worked at Massilimiliano Fuksas and SMC Alsop.
Recently Taranta Creations designed permanent architectural art installations along the riverfront in Shanghai. While a yacht club at Taihu Lake, the Suzhou rock hotel in Weiting district and the museum for Ceramics in Taiwan are under construction. Current commissions include the design of big events and galas for MTV, the renovation of the Rockefeller villa and the design of several 5 star-hotels, among them the W-hotel in Macau. The design of the Roy flagship store is awarded with the Asian Interior Design Award 2010.
The office is located within the Red Town Sculpture Park in Shanghai China. This melting pot of creative industries, ranging from artworks to libraries, forms the perfect background for the office design process. In 2010 Juriaan Calis and Giorgio Radojkovic joined the office as principal designers.
