Studio RE+N (Re-Evolve Narrative Studio) is a research-driven, multidisciplinary design practice based in Hangzhou, China, founded by architect Yuting Zhang in 2023. Zhang holds degrees from Tsinghua University and the Harvard Graduate School of Design, with years of practice experience across China and the United States.
The studio's name encodes its method: to re-evolve site conditions and narrate the stories embedded in places and the people who inhabit them. Working across architecture, landscape, urban renewal, curation, product, and installation design, the practice foregrounds narrative-driven strategies and participatory spatial experiences.
The studio's work has been recognized internationally, including the ArchiPosition China Emerging Architects List (2023–2025), German iF Design Award (2025), Architizer A+Awards Finalist (2024), The Plan Award Finalist (2024), Architecture MasterPrize (2023), and DNA Paris Design Award (2024). Projects have been published on ArchDaily, Designboom, ArchiPosition, and gooood, among other architecture media platforms.
