spado architects is an architectural practice run by Harald Weber and Hannes Schienegger in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee, which focusses in all its projects on the connection between people and space and the effect of space on people.
Their architecture is largely the result of scrutinising and understanding the task at hand, intensive engagement with the location and a research-based examination of the past and future.
Together with their team, they take the lead from the task to completion.
Additionally, the studio is part of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme. It welcomes young architectural talents with a strong interest in art, craftsmanship, and design. During the exchange period, participants are provided with free accommodation in a fully furnished apartment.
