Salomon Daniel, Assoc. AIABorn and raised in Mexico City, Salomon moved to San Diego California at the age of 15. He was raised in a multicultural home, which allowed him to understand and explore the beauty of diversity. Since his childhood, hes had an affinity for art, design, and the explorations of the built environment.
He is a recent graduate of Woodbury University, where he earned his bachelors degree in Architecture (B.Arch). He also attended design studios at SCI-Arc in Los Angeles and Yonsei University in South Korea.
His professional career started while in school with his mentor Steven Lombardi AIA and later worked at Gracia Studio with Jorge Gracia. Since graduation in 2009, Salomon held the position of Assistant Project Manager at Marengo Morton Architects in La Jolla until the end of 2010.
He currently holds a Designer position at Safdie Rabines Architects in San Diego where he is working on multiple local and international Design Projects. He is in the process of completing IDP this year, and as a recent ARE candidate is getting ready to begin testing.
While balancing the workload and preparing for the exams, he has made time to enjoy one of his hobbies, which is travelling. Hes travelled to over 25 different countries that have allowed him to further explore many different cultures including those of his roots. These travelling experiences have also sparked an interest in him to study the complexities of our contemporary world. He enjoys exploring the uniqueness of places and their individuality as they simultaneously engage history, evolving cultures, geography, and technology.
He continues to gain experience and knowledge in the field of Architecture and Design and has many short and long-term goals that he plans to accomplish.
