Since our founding in
1976, Richardson Associates Architects has provided high-quality architectural
and design services for the educational, cultural, and commercial needs of
communities throughout Kentucky and the Appalachian region. Our philosophy is predicated on three basic
principles: fit, balance, and
partnership.
Architecture works
best when it fits the client. So as we
approach each new project, we seek to answer two essential questions: who is our client and how will our client
interact with our design? To reconcile
the who and the how, we design facilities that are both innovative and
efficient.
We recognize that
with each new project there are many factors to consider. Whether they are financial, physical, or
aesthetic, appropriately balancing the many competing needs of a project is
critical for turning a vision into a reality.
Achieving this balance is one of the hallmarks of our design work.
As each client is
unique, so is our approach to each new project.
The evolution of a project from concept to construction requires a
special partnership, and we highly value the input and involvement of our
clients at each stage of the process.
With
our commitment to a three-pronged approach to architecture, we have established
a strong reputation as a leading design firm for the residential, commercial,
and institutional needs of Kentucky and the Appalachian region.
