Michele Grace Hottel has been practicing architecture with her own namesake architecture firm since 1994. Prior to that she worked in various architecture and engineering firms in the Los Angeles and San Diego area during and after her attendance at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and the University of Copenhagen. She is licensed in California and Texas, focusing on residential housing, single and multi-family, small institutional and commercial with over 30 years of experience. She is an active member of the AIA and has been a Committee chair of CRAN and Chair of the AIA CA Housing Forum. She is in her third appointed term as a Planning Commissioner for the City of La Mesa and is active in her community.
