R4a means 'Room for architecture'. Based in Rijswijk (NL), our office consists of a multidisciplinary team of creative professionals. Our designs primarily contribute to comfort and well fitting space on the human scale. We have a strong contextual approach towards any design matter. After all: a building and its surroundings are always connected and should - in our opinion - complement each other.
A significant part of our portfolio consists of projects with a strong social component such as educational buildings, childcare centers, cultural facilities, sports accommodations and religious buildings. Additionally, urban design projects, office buildings, villas, other residential projects and interiors are also part of our comprehensive portfolio.
