R2b1 is an architectural office specialized on finding new typologies for media and low density buildings to inhabit and work in Buenos Aires. The sincerity of architecture expressed through the basic building materials themselves and the relationship with the outside and nature, are the principles of their projects.
R2b1 repeatedly have developed projects that propose alternatives to existing urban typologies. Sets townhouses are a study’s hallmark, as well as buildings for professional studies in r2b1 urban code, offering openings to the urban space, trying to break the logic of paired buildings, freeing up space and visuals.
R2b1 have also worked associated with MSGSSS studio in projects of medium and large scale, such as expanding the international airport of Tijuana, the residential towers PROCREAR station Buenos Aires Sector 10, the bus station of Santiago del Estero and the stage of Salta.
