Toward differential architecture
Buildings are anchored to the ground, but the Earth is constantly in motion. Its rotation and revolution create the cyclical changes of seasons and day and night, generating time through "difference and repetition." Various environmental elements such as light, wind, and trees have their unique rhythms, and every creature continues to grow while enjoying or resisting them. If the essence of the environment lies in "change," then architecture needs a "flexible scenario" to swiftly adapt to changes, much like an improvisational performance. In this sense, architecture is an " experience of time" that deepens over the years through familiarity. We aim for an " differential architecture" that leads to daily discoveries, considering human growth and changing activities, rather than being confined to a building as a fixed "container."
