OSW is a networked office based in Milan (Italy) and New Orleans (USA). They operate through an expanded platform that combines design practice, research, and teaching as the core of their interdisciplinary experimentations. The group is interested in working through multiple scales that encompass design, architecture and urban scale projects. The office operates as a permanent workshop looking at architecture as an inclusive practice. The notion of process is at the core of their work allowing for approaches that investigate the ephemeral boundaries between public-private territories by looking at the definition of new operative domains for architecture and design. The founding partners have practiced in Italy, UK, USA ,and before starting their own practice, have worked for international firms including Eisenman Architects, Richard Meier & Partners and Zaha Hadid Architects.
