The architectural office, having been in existance since 1982, can look back on a broad variety of treasured experiences concerning building and planing activity. Until 1995 the office worked under the name Gruppe 3.

Specifically in the fields of timber construction and energy efficient renovation, Nussmüller Architekten has achieved numerous awards and acknowledgements.
The office runs under the guidance of Stefan Nussmüller, with support from Inge and Werner Nussmüller, who both contribute long lasting experience and knowledge. A large number of successes in winning competitions and awards both abroad and within Austria underline the profound know-how of the office.
