NU Architecture & Design is an award-winning international design studio headquartered in Vietnam, working across Australia, the Middle East, Africa, and the United States.
The name NU, meaning “us” in Mauritian Creole, is a tribute to our co-founder’s mother tongue. Rather than imposing a signature aesthetic, the studio’s work is shaped by the identities, values, and lifestyles of its clients, allowing each project to express its own distinct narrative.
NU approaches architecture as a process of inquiry—where we are the design. Outcomes are shaped through dialogue, context, and careful observation rather than a predetermined style. The practice is guided by three core pillars: identity-based design, sustainability, and innovation. Sustainability is embedded through meaningful strategies, while innovation focuses on resolving complexity with restraint and rigour.
Developed through practice across diverse cultural and regulatory contexts, NU has established a disciplined design process. The studio works across architecture, interior, landscape, and product design, with work recognised through architectural publications and awards.
