Our studio is led by architects Nacho Lechón and Camino Alonso. We have more than thirty-five years of professional experience and, for twenty-seven of those years, we directed Ábaton, a studio we founded together.
Through our professional practice, we have developed public and private architecture projects, as well as urban planning and landscape work. Working across diverse fields and scales has allowed us to understand architecture as an ongoing dialogue with what already exists—a process that requires time, attention, and commitment.
The experience gained over more than ten years in public administration, leading complex projects, has provided us with in-depth knowledge of regulations and the administrative processes involved in architectural development.
The design and execution of more than 300 projects have been a constant school: learning from mistakes, anticipating constraints, and making informed decisions from the earliest stages, guiding each process with expertise and confidence through to its realization.
Place is always the starting point. Understanding the territory and its conditions has been, and continues to be, the central axis of our work.
In this new stage, we are orienting our practice toward a more personal and attentive way of working, dedicating the necessary time to each project and supporting those who place their trust in us from the first ideas through to construction.
We approach every commission with curiosity and respect, convinced that architecture is not a fixed answer, but a continuous search.
