MM18 Arquitetura is a Brazilian architectural firm created by Mila Strauss and Marcos Paulo Caldeira. Their projects have an urban, creative and questioning language that results on an identity that is easily identified in buildings like the offices Rocks, Uakari and Zola, or the famous nightclubs Vegas club, Lions, Cine Joia, PanAm Yatch Club, all in São Paulo. Other recent MM18 works are Mirante 9 De Julho and the Drive-In theater.
Mila Strauss graduated at Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo with an extension at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, in Barcelona, where she worked on EMBT | Enric Miralles - Benedetta Tagliabue. Marcos Paulo Caldeira graduated at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and also attended the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. Mila and Marcos are partners since 2008.
