Since 1959, MKK Consulting Engineers, Inc. (MKK) has been designing and engineering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for new construction, renovations, and expansion projects. We serve clients throughout the US from our headquarters in Colorado and branch offices in Montana and Wyoming. A member of the USGBC, we meet the growing demand for sustainable design strategies and practices with LEED Accredited Professionals. Fifty-seven percent of our production staff is LEED AP. Also an EPA Energy Star® Service Provider, we promote the attributes of energy efficiency as an important step toward pollution prevention and the reduction of energy consumption and costs. We have completed the design for many buildings receiving LEED Certification from the USGBC. To date, more than 30 MKK projects are LEED certified or going through the certification process. Many additional projects are designed to meet LEED standards, but have chosen not to seek certification. MKK's headquarters are located in Denver, with branch offices in Cheyenne and Billings. Using state-of-the-art technologies, we facilitate quick, accurate sharing of resources between offices, and ensure appropriate levels of staffing and expertise to support projects across the United States. At present, MKK staff totals 76 employees, including 66 production staff, 22 of which are Professional Engineers (PE). Our engineers are licensed throughout the US, giving us the ability to practice across the country.
