Michael Hutaff, AIA, LEED AP, is a successful and highly sought after licensed Architect from Southern California. In 2009 he set off to develop a studio where Architects and designers of all types could collaborate on ideas and strategies for helping rebuild downtrodden areas within cities through sustainable, economical and cutting-edge solutions. His motto is “Restore. Rebuild. Renew. Making communities livable again.” This vision affects all facets of his design process and seeks to show that architecture has a tremendous impact on the social fabric of our daily lives. It is his goal to create inspired architecture that extends beyond the confines of an office and positively affects those around us.
The success of Michael’s diverse portfolio of work is a result of a holistic process, where the client’s vision and his concepts combine from start to finish, forming a cohesive working relationship. Careful consideration is given to how the building will ultimately respond to its’ site and the community in which is resides. These initial decisions serve as the foundation upon which all forms, functional relationships and materials are selected. The ultimate goal of any project he designs is to achieve a solution that respects the client and sustainably integrates itself into the environment, all while enriching the local community and making it a more livable place.
