Meredith Marlow has been described as the next big thing in Interior Design. Her interiors have received acclaim and numerous industry accolades. The spaces she designs are sophisticated, refined and unique. They are both softly modern and classically clean lined. She states, "We are in the business of beautiful spaces and pride ourselves on being able to interpret the unique style of each of our clients. Customer experience is always number one. We see ourselves as advocates for the client as we guide them through the process of creating beautiful and functional spaces." It is this approach that has earned Meredith both the trust of her clients and a reputation for being at the top of her field.
Meredith grew up in the Virginia suburbs of Washington D.C. and moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida. After studying Literature at UF, Meredith went on to get a master's degree in English from the University of Miami where she specialized in American Literature. A job in publishing eventually led to a management position in Tokyo working for a British publisher and entrepreneur. It was there on the small winding streets of Tokyo, with the juxtapositions of old temples and new iconic buildings, that her lifelong love for design further blossomed, “I remember walking alone on the streets in Omotesando and turning the corner my breath was absolutely taken away. There before me stood the six story gleaming glass and steel Prada building designed by Herzog de Meuron. Only a few moments earlier I walked past a traditional wooden Shinto shrine looking just as if it had popped out of a Katsushika Hokusai painting with pale fluttering cherry blossoms and vermillion colored wood. Tokyo was constant design stimulation. It changed me and really made me feel alive. I hope my designs instill in my clients that same sense of wonder and delight.” Upon returning to the US she settled in South Beach and began post graduate studies in Interior Design. When chosen to receive the top honors award from her professors in the Department of Architecture and Interior Design, her resolve was cemented and she knew she had found her calling.
After graduation, Meredith began her design career at the Miami office of a prestigious architecture firm. She finally realized her dream when she launched out on her own forming Meredith Marlow Interiors.
