Logica:architettura
Logica:architettura - founded in 1998 by Riccardo Salvi -
primarily deals with interior, furniture and industrial design from the stage
of analysis and conceiving, the drafting of preliminary, detail, final and
constructional design, to the supervision of realization, time and cost
control, consignment to the client of the finished work and Project Management
through all its stages.
Dedicated
to research, Logica:architettura continually looks for new techniques of
construction, new materials, innovative technologies and always foresighting
design philosophies.
Logica:architettura
believes that interior architecture is the discipline that should coordinate
spaces, materials and furniture. The goal of interior architecture is to create
a consistent environment in which nothing is left to randomness. Everything
must be the product of project awareness. Interior architecture must create
spaces that are at the same time: functional, comfortable, efficient, cosy –
familiar but surprising. Never stupidly creative. A good project is based on a
clear idea of architecture that must be the guide line for all the conception.
No consistent clear ideas, no interior architecture. Interior architecture is
based on rules that come from the history of the discipline. Interior
architecture requires unity in its progress and clarity in its composition. It
is not just the choice of some pieces of furniture, but it concerns the
construction of an emotional habitat. Interior architecture is about “void”.
Interior architecture creates “high quality voids” dressed up in good materials
and details.
Logica:architettura
has its 300 sqm main office in Milan (ITALY) in a building designed in the 30’s
by Gio Ponti.
