Jones, Partners: Architecture is a full service architectural practice based in Los Angeles, with an international reputation for the design of richly engaging, technologically intense environments.
As a design firm, J,P:A brings certain preconceptions to each project. Chief among these is the idea that every project can be awesome. J,P:A does not believe in “bread and butter” work.
J,P:A has been involved in an unusual range of projects, located all over the world. These have included residences all over the US, as well as office buildings and telecom hotels in San Francisco, corporate offices in Kuala Lumpur, a National Memorial at Kennedy Space Center, not to mention a power plant, office building and maintenance facility at the University of California, LA , a coffee shop in Pittsburg and big public stair in Cincinnati.
This work has won numerous awards and been published widely; it has also been featured in exhibits at museums and galleries on four continents. The principals have lectured on technology and the work of the office throughout the world, and taught in the schools of architecture at many leading universities. Princeton Architectural Press has published two monographs of the work, Instrumental Form, which covers the first ten years of J,P:A’s existence. and El Segundo, which deals with the next eight.
