Jan Kazimierz Godzimirski (born 1992) graduated from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design in 2018. From 2011-2014, Jan was a codirector of “Center for Voluntary Youth” organizing an exchange program with the “Huni Kuin” – a native amazon tribe – and building a “mini amazon” themed installation in Oslo, Norway.
In 2012-2013 at the Munch Museum, and 2019 at the Vigelands Museum, Jan worked alongside paper conservators as a consultant, designing a system for over 200 unique book cradles for the sketchbooks of Munch and Vigeland.
In 2013 he began to work with Magne Magler Wiggen at mmw, where one of his main tasks was redesigning mmw’s website and partake in building various installations for the studio. In 2014 Jan was on exchange at TU Delft in the Netherlands where he participated in an interdisciplinary course Bucky Lab focusing on paper as a construction material. Pursuing his curiosity and passion for working with people and materials, Jan joined the Scarcity and Creativity Studio in 2016, where he later held a teaching position from 2017 - 2019.
Jan became part of the board of Eco Moyo Education Centre in 2019 – where he today focuses on the onsite development and establishing new strategies for the future of the school. Since 2015 Jan has also vastly contributed to the 120 hours team as an organizer and advisor.
