Bachelor (2003), Doctorate (2013) and three Master degrees in Architecture, highlighting the M.Arch (2004) at the Bartlett School in London (U.C.L.) and Master in Complex Architectures (2007) in UA. Among his influential teachers: Jose Maria Torres Nadal, Federico Soriano, Peter Cook, Juan Herreros and Salvador Perez Arroyo,
Since 2007 he has taught Architectural Design at the University of Alicante in all courses and together with Andrés Jaque (2009-10) or Belinda Tato (2011-12). Tutor of more than 100 Final Projects, since 2015 he has been part of the Management Team of Architecture as Coordinator of Final Projects.
Regular visitor of European universities, in 2012 he moved to Seoul (Korea) as a professor at Soongsil University.
At present, his main motivation as researcher focus on the leadership of the educational project on urban sustainability and aimed at a general audience More Than Green, which has received several awards and recognitions in the last 5 years. It is broadcasted internationally in four languages (Spanish, English, Chinese and Korean) with support from the Spanish Government. As part of it, More Than Green 1st International Summer Course (2013) and the workshop Future Environments Future Generations (2010+2011) in which children and students of architecture jointly imagine sustainable urban future models.
As a professional practitioner, and leading PLAYstudio, he has won 11 awards in national and international competitions (7 1st prizes including 3 Europan) which has not only allowed him to develop architectural projects in several countries (Spain, Austria and Norway) but to publish, exhibit and participate regularly in different spaces, magazines, conferences, etc. all around the world.
