The practice was set up in Buenos Aires in 2004, and it is coordinated by architect Ignacio Montaldo, who has a degree in Architecture, Design and Urbanism from the University of Buenos Aires (F.A.D.U. - U.B.A.), year 2003. The practice has a flexible and dynamic working structure, and it is ready to face different levels of commissions and contests. Moarqs is a space, open to associations and different types of cooperation for project developing. The practice has participated in the Argentine exhibition at the San Pablo Architecture Biennial in 2005 and 2007. In 2006, it was awarded the first prize of the competition to remodel Plaza de Mayo and, in 2007, the first prize of the Biennial Award for Finished Works, in the urban space Presentations Category of the Architecture Society of Buenos Aires Province (C.A.P.B.A.).
