IdS/R ARCHITECTURE was established by Maria Ibañez de Sendadiano and Todd Rouhe in 2000. Based in New York, IdS/R is interested in the role of the architect as a mediator between ideas, actions and constraints during the design process. Each of our projects is the outcome of an exchange that mixes the owners’ vision of space and material with our experience in creating environments that are provocative as much as they are functional.
IdS/R works on projects of any scale, from master plans to interiors; from freestanding dwellings to furniture. Regardless of the scale, we engage each project with a comprehensive approach to development, presentation and management. The work of Ibañez de Sendadiano, Rouhe and IdS/R architecture has been featured in numerous publications, including the New York Times and Vogue Magazine.
