There
is a series of underlying themes in our work. Amongst these, the
research for architectural quality despite the limited resources, the
interest in social and environmental sustainability, or the planning
for spatial flexibility and reversibility. Our strategies
spontaneously emerge from the places where we design. On site we find
our research inputs, we design our research processes and identify
hints for the development a project. Our aim is to trigger reactions,
engage people and explore the identity of a place while highlighting
its potentiality and revealing its qualities. We aim at creating new
synergies.
We
often take part to public competitions.
We
believe they are a unique instrument for the development of projects
that may affect the life of a society as a whole while assessing
their social and environmental impact. We also apply our research
approach to interior design and advocate experimentation within the
residential field: small scale allows us to focus on the details and
as a result to develop bespoke furnishings and building
specifications.
