gCbK is the collaborative design practice of Saranga Nakhooda and Devin Lafo. Our work explores new ways to engage our built surroundings. Based in New York City, our multi-disciplinary projects include a range of practical and theoretical explorations in architecture, urbanism, hydroponic gardening, sustainable landscaping, and furniture design.
Saranga Nakhooda and Devin Lafo received their Masters in Architecture from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation (GSAPP). They were jointly awarded the program’s first sustainable design award for a research and design project on emerging forms of urban agriculture in cities across the US, from Milwaukee to New York City.
