GRIS is a multidisciplinary architecture and design studio founded in Guatemala City in 2021. We specialize in boutique hospitality, coastal residential and destination architecture — with 40+ projects delivered across Guatemala and Honduras.
Our work is rooted in a simple conviction: every project is a new opportunity to interpret the singularity of a client and express it through architecture. At the center of every design decision is the end user.
We operate from Guatemala City with built work concentrated along Guatemala's Pacific coast — El Paredón, Sipacate, Puerto Quetzal and Puerto San José — as well as Antigua Guatemala and Roatán, Honduras. Our founder spent five years in Roatán building 60+ beach houses and a 30-room boutique hotel before establishing GRIS, shaping a design approach built specifically for tropical and coastal environments.
Rosa Jamaica Beach Club, our most recognized project, was published in ArchDaily EN, ES and BR in 2026. Casa Onda and Caracola were featured in Designboom. Casa Onda was also published in Dwell.
