Gabriele Lottici was born in Reggio Emilia (Italy) in 1959, and graduated in Architecture at the Università degli Studi di Firenze in 1985.
His professional activity has ranged from design in the hospital and social-health care sectors to residential and office building design, in addition to important restoration and retrofit projects for historical buildings and complexes. In the last ten years the focus has been on the design of new very low energy buildings and districts as well as urban and building retrofit with low environmental impact.
He designed some of the first low-energy buildings in Emilia Romagna, including the new Abitcoop Headquarters in Modena, winner of the Building Automation and Renewable Energies Award 2012.
