Located in Valencia and London, gglab is a young architectural office specialized in digital architecture and design, innovation and research.
gglab (green geometries laboratory) was founded in 2008 by Andrés Arias (México), José Ramón Tramoyeres (Spain) and Sangyup Lee (South Korea) from the beginning.
It is specialized in redefining architectural and urban design through computational tecniques and sustainable means.
We do architecture for the global society as a network of independent research that works from Valencia (Spain) and London (UK).
The name "gglab" stands for green geometries laboratory, referring to the inspiration in nature.
Our work on digital architecture and design has been widely published and presented in various media and international competitions in Spain, China, Italy, USA, Belgium, Mexico, UK and Russia.
Our team believes in enviromental, social and economic sustainability, networking, exploring and applying new technologies and advanced geometries.
We do so based on two essential pillars: research (generating knowledge) and innovation (applying knowledge through our teaching).
