Gemeinde means “community” in an institutional sense. It is, understanding society through conscience. Using architecture and the built environment, we try to pursuit justice for the individual, the community, and their surroundings. We try that both, the final product and the process, become factors of change. As miniscule as it may be, we believe that conscious work is the origin of transformation. We see the world as a complex system of beings and factors, and we try to understand this whole as holistically as possible in order to achieve equilibrium in the resulting project. Architecture must be accessible and sustainable; just and diverse.
The Studio works with projects of every scale: furniture design, houses and housing, public buildings, and urban design. We work hand in hand in the material selection and the construction processes to attain subtlety and precision in the details and finishes.
