FWA is a young architectural practice based in Florence and working also in London. It is a small office that, through a tight network of external collaborations, it proposes to satisfy inspirations and needs of the clients with high profile projects. It has a solid expertise in architecture, project management and a refined inclination towards Sustainable Environmental Design. Our method of work is based on thorough analysis and design intuitions and involves the use of sophisticated software but also the realizations of physical models and on scale mock-ups.
FWA is committed to researching in themes related to sustainable architecture and cities. It is involved in international European researches where he is developing the new concept of mitigative buildings and urban districts.
Filippo Weber
Filippo Weber, after classical studies, graduated with full marks in Building Engineering and Architecture at the Universita’ di Bologna in 2008. He obtained the professional qualification in 2009 and is currently registered at “Order of Architects of Milan”.
His professional experience has been divided between collaboration with Italian practices – Mario Cucinella Architects, Roberto Murgia Architect and ASA Studio Albanese – and personal projects with FWA, his activity as a freelance architect. During these years, he has acquired a deep knowledge of all design and managerial phases from conceptual design to construction site direction.
He recently successfully accomplished the MArch in Sustainable Environmental Design at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, where he has strengthened his conceptual design skills undertaking a design research on sustainability, on its principle and on the users’ perception with the purpose of generating new architectural spaces and envisioning new way of living the built and non-built environment.
