Established in 1980, Fuses Viader Architects is an architectural design studio based in Girona, Spain.
The philosophy of the studio has developed from an open position, always considering the identity and specificity of each place, its relationship with the surrounding context and the idea of the social transcendence of architecture.
The city, especially the historic city, has always been a basic reference in the work done by the studio, covering a wide typological range that goes from urban renewals, restorations and extensions of historic buildings, as well as transformations of public spaces, to new public and residential buildings.
With a long career and an extensive catalogue of built work, the studio led by Josep Fuses and Joan M. Viader has been awarded numerous times since its founding and has been issued by numerous publications in both printed and digital media at local and international level.
