In Rick's over 35 years in practice he has worked on numerous public, institutional and private projects that include work for three Native American Tribes [Navajo, Southern Ute and Ute Mountain Ute], National Main Street work with the National Trust for Historic Preservation, major urban design project charrettes such as Three Springs, Durango, CO; Chaco Trails, Crownpoint, NM; The Town of Mancos Airport Property, Mancos, CO; and the Main Street Visioning Project, Durango CO. He is a LEED AP who has worked on sustainability projects since the 1970's and was the architect for many award winning historic preservation projects as well as designs for significant new buildings situated within nationally designated historic districts. He also specializes in small, sustainable residential projects, some as small as 728 s.f.
