Duggan Morris Architects create buildings that are elegantly conceived, delightful to use and executed with technical refinement. We are a London based practice established in 2004.
Our work demonstrates an ardent interest in emerging construction methods and evolving traditions of craft. Designs are rooted in a rich understanding and sense of place to create an architecture uniquely tailored to its context. We are acutely aware of our responsibility to the continuum of the city and society, enhancement of the environment and economic cycle of growth and re-use.
Over the past thirteen years our growing team has nurtured an energetic studio culture of collaboration, creativity and critique. This team approach has honed a rigorous design process across the studio and brought about a universal commitment to quality throughout our portfolio, maintained as we have expanded our experience across a wide range of typologies, sectors and scales.
Duggan Morris Architects has been widely recognised for design excellence, with multiple industry awards for completed and (as yet) unrealised design work, including 8 RIBA National Awards, 3 Civic Trust Awards, The Manser Medal and the Stephen Lawrence Prize. Our most notable completed schemes include Ortus Centre, home of Maudsley Learning, Brentford Lock West and a new sports wing for Alfriston SEN school in Buckinghamshire.
