Douglas Peters is more than just an architect. He believes that as an architect it is his duty to not only serve and collaborate with the client but also with the greater public, the environment, and the trades. Douglas is a licensed architect in the State of California. He is an active member of the AIA (American Institute of Architects) and is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional (AP).Douglas has worked for several varied sized architecture firms throughout Los Angeles. The most recent was as an Associate with DesignARC Architects, 10 years. Douglas has also worked for 3 years with the international firm of RTKL in their Los Angeles office, as well as with Bruno Bondanelli and Associates (Design:x). Douglas also worked as a Set Designer and Art Department Assistant within the movie industry. Working on a motion picture featuring the Carradine Brothers, Melinda Dillon, and Kathy Bates (“The Effects of Magic”).Douglas brings all of these creative endeavors and avenues to each project making his practice more than just a service or facilitating a piece of Architecture, but as an engaging and enriching experience.
