Founded in 2007, the office focuses since the beginning its own work on the complex relationship between the state of being contemporary and context, characterizing itself for its authorial approach to the project related to the choice of the right scale of intervention and revealing a strong inclination to the evocative aspect of the architectural work.
demogo has taken part in several competition all over Europe, preferring complex conditions such as historic centre or relevant landscapes. The office has received various prizes; in particular in 2009 won the Europan 10 competition for the new town hall of Gembloux in Belgium, that was completed in 2015. The building was then awarded with the prize IQU for Innovation and Urban Quality.
The landscape scale, the right tone of the building in relation to the context and its the atmospheric character are the main topics which the studio has dealt with over the years and especially in the last works such as the winning project for the competition for F.lli Fanton bivouac in Marmarole mountain pass in Dolomiti, an important work that was centred on the technological issues related to the alpine architecture and designed with a contemporary compositional approach.
In 2015 the National Council of Italian Architects assigned to demogo the important prize Young Talent of Italian Architecture, a recognition that proved the high value of the research developed by the office in the field of architecture.
