Studiobv36 is a physical space, an area for research that endeavours to create a relationship between architecture, design and art. The precondition for such research is for architecture to express itself as an inclusive discipline capable of gathering operational systems fromdiverse creative fields; the “planner-designer” must be able to co-ordinate, integrate and organize all those factors which take part in the constitutive process of the form of the project, not detached from the process of “building”. The task is to combine the experimental dimensionwith a professional procedure capable of responding to complex planning programmes using a network of specialist collaboration (structures, road networks, finances, landscape, graphics, illustration). Our architectural projects are concentrated on housing, with innovative approaches which look at changing life styles, on office buildings and urban public spaces. In the past few years, we have carried out several private and public projects, such as office buildings, houses, shops, and public spaces. We have taken part in numerous national and international competitions and we are also involved in interior design, product design and mounting exhibitions. Several of our projects have been published in architectural magazines (Domus, Abitare, Area, Recuperare l’Edilizia, Spazio-Architettura, Progetti-Roma) and books. Furthermore, I teach and carry out research work at the Faculty of Architecture – University of Rome“La Sapienza”.
