Cyril Curto Architecte is a French architecture practice based in Alès and Uzès, working throughout the Gard, the Cévennes, Provence and the Luberon.
The practice specializes in the transformation of heritage buildings, historic houses and traditional stone architecture, as well as the design of contemporary homes tailored to their site and occupants. Each project seeks a careful balance between preservation and innovation, respecting the character of the place while responding to contemporary ways of living.
Particular attention is given to natural light, spatial clarity, authentic materials and construction quality. The studio provides a complete architectural service, from feasibility studies and concept design to planning applications, construction documentation and site supervision.
The work of the practice has been recognized with the René Fontaine Award – Jury's Special Prize from Maisons Paysannes de France for the restoration of a historic property in the Cévennes.
