Mexico-born architect Jaime Diaz-Berrio and UK-born architect Mark Allan have brought their extensive creative talents and experience to Australia, where their growing portfolio boasts residential and commercial projects. The pair worked at a number of large practices both nationally and internationally before co-founding Crosshatch in 2012, a small design studio based in Melbourne. Diaz-Berrio and Allan are quickly being recognised for an elegant design vernacular that has both minimalist and modernist principles at its core. Specialising in residential and commercial projects sees them offer solution-focused outcomes that are hard-working, well considered and inventive. They pride themselves on ethical design practice, strong collaboration and in personally making each client’s journey an enjoyable one.
