C-re-aid is a Belgian non-profit organization operating in northern Tanzania since 2012.
Our mission is to explore the possibilities of architecture to promote long-term ecological and affordable building. Through architectural projects we aspire a place where people are creatively inspired within a hand reach to participate in an affordable and sustainable building culture.
Our vision states that architecture is much more than a tool to merely enhance material conditions. By introducing a more sustainable and affordable building method, we strongly believe our projects have the ability to trigger social and economical change in a poverty stricken region.
