Veterans Place of Washington Blvd. is partnering with BOB Project Inc. to build a tiny house community that will serve as permanent, supportive housing for homeless veterans. The OBA Design modular "living" models can expand as veteran’s needs change. The veteran tiny homes project will include a community center, but this innovative design is scalable and adaptive. It can provide needed services for a diverse array of people, i.e., single mothers with a daycare center, foster children needing forever homes with a family center, seniors with supportive services. The module concept and the green technologies will keep the costs of housing and utilities low. The lifestyle choice of living outside in the world, makes our programming needs paramount, keeping all engaged. Options of expandable modules to add a bedroom, office, nursery, storage space, are available. These modules can be a starter home and expand as life changes occur.
