Blecher Building + Urban Design | BBUD is an architecture practice focused on precise, design-forward work across residential, commercial, and community projects.
The work engages directly with constraints—existing buildings, zoning and code, permitting, and construction realities—using them as a framework for design rather than a limitation.
Projects are developed through clear spatial organization, disciplined material strategies, and a strong relationship to context. The goal is architecture that is legible, durable, and calibrated to how spaces are used.
The practice has particular experience with renovations, additions, adaptive reuse, and infill housing, including ADUs and small multifamily projects, often within complex urban conditions.
Sustainability is integrated as a baseline approach, with an emphasis on all-electric systems and long-term performance.
