Atria is a Brazilian contemporary architecture and design group founded in 2001 and coordinated by Gustavo Costa and Gabriela Muller. The office operates in area beyond the traditional boundaries of architecture, which include urban planning, engineering, construction management, lighting design, technology, curating, graphic and furniture design. The Firm’s structure is formed by three complementary work initiatives: Atria Arquitectos, Atria Design, and Atria P+G – which often acts in parallel for the same clients, fertilizing architectural/cultural pursuits based on a multidisciplinary view. Architects, engineers, researchers, students and designers work in close collaboration, and expert consultants are intimately involved from the beginning of the design process.
