Akari is a custom residential architecture firm specializing in sustainable
design and construction. In conjunction with our consultants we practice an
integrated design approach to create homes with long-term environmental and
financial benefits for our clients. Atelier Akari believes in the practice of
certifying our homes and use the following green rating programs: LEED for
Homes and Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC). By certifying and
documenting the reduced material use, waste stream and energy consumption in
addition to reduced operational costs our clients gain at least 35 percent
towards the market value of their home. Atelier Akari values continuing education and is
dedicated to providing access to opportunities which will better shape our
understanding of our environment. We use our resources to help our clients
imagine and realize their sustainable future.We create interiors that are user-focused and functional. Our homes are designed around technology, multifunctional furniture/rooms and how they both can be easily adapted for use in the future.
