Arkina is an architecture and design-build studio based in Las Terrenas, on the Samaná Peninsula of the Dominican Republic. Founded in 2017, the studio designs private residences, second homes, and hospitality projects across the Dominican Republic and the wider Caribbean.
Arkina does not work from a signature style. Each project starts from its site, climate, and the people who will inhabit it. Because design and construction happen within the same studio, decisions made in drawings are carried through on site.
