areal architecten was founded in 2006 by three engineers-architects.Thomas Cols, Chris and Barbara Eeraerts Morisse all graduated from KU Leuven in 2001. After a joint thesis project in Coimbra, Portugal, led by Professor architect Gonçalo Byrne, they worked in various qualitative offices here in Belgium and abroad.Active in the field of architecture, urbanism and landscape architecture, the office is composed by 6 architects.
