Architecture Matters is a Melbourne based practice that
strives to offer its clients the best in innovative, imaginative, and creative
design over a wide range of projects. Since being established, Architecture
Matters has taken part in a diverse body of work, ranging from small scale
additions & alterations to multi-million dollar commercial developments. Our office approaches environmentally sustainable design not
as a “value-add” to a project but as part of a standard design methodology on
all our projects. Throughout our practice, AM has collected experience with a
range of environmental products and has successfully incorporated a range of sustainable
products & systems in various residential and commercial projects.
AM has extensive experience over more than 20 years with all
types of residential work ranging from small and discrete additions and
alterations to substantial new homes and multi-unit developments. Our work can
be found throughout the metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria. We place
an emphasis on creating beautiful, functional and efficient homes that address
the unique requirements of each client and each site. Architecture matters has
found that the most successful outcomes are achieved through an engagement with
their residential clients in a detailed consultative and collaborative design
process resulting in homes that are tailored to the specific needs and desires
of their owners and occupants. Our work has been published in various
architectural and interior design publications over the years.
Our office has an extensive track record for delivering projects for
state and local government, institutional and private clients across metropolitan
Melbourne and regional Victoria specializing in sporting and recreational,
primary and pre-primary educational and public health facilities. We are adept
at working within often complex organizational client and user group structures
and consistently meet budgetary and programmatic milestones.Anthony Quigley is a graduate from RMIT. He has over fifteen
