Since 1903, the predecessor firms of architects Tillmann Ruth Robinson have been integral to the development of public life and institutions in Ontario. We continue to be inspired by our clients in creating innovative design, providing superb delivery of services, and efficient management of teams and projects. Behind each client is a group of over 40 professionals including architects, designers and planners in two locations, London and Toronto.
Good design is a deliberate process that generates unique buildings particular to people and places. At architects Tillmann Ruth Robinson, we believe that collaboration is key to making real the specific intent, values and beliefs of a community. We invest in a process with our co-creators - the user groups and stakeholders – through discussions exploring vision and mission. We work together to describe aspirations for the look and feel of a place. We also establish clear expectations for schedules, cost and responsibilities to the project team. The outcome of these discussions becomes a measure against how future decisions are weighed.
In recognizing the value of these buildings, we see our role as designers of architecture that inspires action, makes our communities more livable and healthier. Design works to help communities thrive; it is a process of discovering the means to engage the human spirit.
